Known as the Protectors of Biodiversity, the Botanical Garden of Quindio has invested many years safeguarding some of the most threatened species of the Andean region.

During your tour you will stroll through its trails with your bilingual guide, marvelling at the grand trees, the variety of the palm trees, the array of flowers and the many colors of the forest.

After you have climbed high up into its observation tower you will comprehend the framework of the trees, along with their canopy covering them from above. From up here you will hear the great many birds, singing for food, love and life. And you will venture through the canopy searching for the origins of the most beautiful songs in the rich vegetation.

You’ll then enter the famous Casa de Mariposa (butterfly house), where some 1000 butterflies share their elegance with shapes as well as shades of many colors.
