If you’re looking for the best places to go dancing in Cartagena, Bazurto Social Club has to top the list.  Long a favorite for locals, it has increasingly become a hot spot for visitors as well.

The reason it is the best Cartagena dance club is because it is the best place to go dancing in Cartagena to the local music Champeta.  A mix of African rhythms and Reggaeton influence, the music is unique to Colombia’s Caribbean coast and has recently become more popular nationally and even recognized internationally.

If you have no idea what you’re doing on the dance floor don’t worry though.  In addition, to live music, there are also frequent mini dance tutorials throughout the night to teach you the basics.  You won’t want to miss picking up the basics at this Cartagena dance club to show your friends back home.
